It is the unique annual restaurant award on the basis of evaluations by ordinary customers, not by food experts.
The Tabelog users will vote and select Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Best New Entry as the top restaurants from 536 restaurants
with extremely high-evaluation out of approximately 810,000 restaurants nationwide (As of December, 2020) in 2020.

Since the year of 2020 is a year with a lot of hardships for many restaurants,
it must require an extraordinary amount of effort and hard work to continue maintaining tastes or recipes without giving up even under such tough environment or situations.
