The chef creates magically variety of fish dishes. This Japanese restaurant serves dishes with fresh seasonal fishes in variety of cooking methods. The taste is so nice that I am addicted to the cuisines. Beautiful presentation, quality of ingredients and wide variety of dishes, everything is perfect and I have never got bored with them. I am also impressed with variety of rice dishes, served with egg, salt as well as baked rice. With ingredients and Sake from Kochi, the chef is pursuing producing dishes to take advantage of them.

Because I was so impressed with the cuisine, I visited the restaurant 2 days in a row.
I first tried a regional cuisine course of the month. The chef served variety of typical Piemonte cuisines in a small portion. Then I had a creative cuisine course in next which the chef is really passionate about. The dishes were cooked mainly with seafood in modern style. The taste was subtle and delicate. A combination of ingredients was unique. Before the starter served, "Squid ink and potato in cappuccino style", a specialty of "Le Calandre" where the chef learnt to cook, was served. It reminded me the taste at Le Calandre. I also enjoyed wine with meals. The restaurant had wide selection of French wines as well as Italian.
The restaurant is located by the Mejiro Street and away from the downtown. The atmosphere of neighbours is calm as well as sophisticated. So it suits very well the chef Kitano’s cuisines created in traditional French style as well as in modern style. He serves the traditional French cuisines added his original ideas. They are well balanced and have a subtle taste. The talented chef makes the most of quality of ingredients and presents dishes beautifully.
A Pre-Fix lunch course consists of 8 dishes from amuse bouche to dessert.
"Eclair of squid ink" is black pudding with squid ink served with apple sauce. You can taste bitterness, sourness as well as sweetness at the same time. The main dish starts from “Ezo venison” to “Beef cheek”. They are very delicious without typical game meat smell.
Its location, Mejiro and price are also attractive.
Contrary to outside wall of concrete, the inside of restaurant is decorated with wood creating a chic atmosphere. 2 lunch courses are available. Course's dishes are well balanced. We can enjoy not only its taste but also its presentation. Black tagliatelle made with squid ink served with seafood is full of aroma and very impressive.
Roasted Ezo venison is well cooked and served with 2 different sauces making it taste even better. Its volume and price make us satisfied. It is also good that the restaurant accepts guests with small children.
The inside of restaurant is not big but with white base colour has a relaxed atmosphere.
Its service is polite and crisp.
Each dish has distinctive flavours as well as presentations. The portion of dish is small. But fine ingredients are generously used. You can enjoy rich cheese in its specialty, ravioli. I should not forget to mention about desserts. A lot of small sweets which are not in the menu are served in long wooden plate before dessert. They are irresistible for a sweet tooth. We can fully rely on the staff about selection of wine to go with meals. Its meals, wine and services, everything is perfect. The restaurant accepts guests with a baby in buggy.
The outside wall is made with black wooden plates. The inside has a simple but luxury atmosphere. Seats at the bar and individual rooms are available. Its delicate and beautiful dishes impress guests. The chef's professionalism and aesthetics produce a perfect well balanced dish. A main ingredient is perfectly accompanied by side ingredients to create an impeccable dish. It makes guests satisfied.
Especially a bowl of white miso soup with rich miso taste and aromatic whale meat is very delicious and makes our body warm as well as heart.

It is a modern and chic Japanese restaurant with simple interior decoration and dim lights. Main seats are at bar and guests can see chefs'work space. Individual rooms and tables are also available. They serve an authentic Japanese cuisine in a modern and chic atmosphere. The service is comfortable. They develop new concept for Japanese restaurant. However they don't compromise in taste. The experienced chefs cooked dishes with stock and seasonal ingredients. Their taste is very subtle. Tasting Sake is exceptional while looking at a hot pot with autumn ingredients prepared by chefs in front of guests. The staffs always serve meals and drinks in proper moment. It also makes guests satisfied.
The seats at the bar and individual rooms are available in this restaurant. Sushi rice mixed with less aged red vinegar and salt is lightly flavoured. The surface of Sushi rice is sticky but boiled hard. It well goes with fishes. Softly grabbed and shaped Sushi rice is melted in mouth with Sashimi. Slightly warm rice brings out the flavour of soft roe as well as horse crab. Cooked dishes are also delicious with strong flavour. Sushi master is very careful to control right temperature of rice and uses only centre part of rice in the cooker. The young master is very friendly and talkative. I hope to come again soon to enjoy its relaxed atmosphere.

We can enjoy seasonal taste of Japanese cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. Items, quality and volume, everything is highly satisfied. Depending on ingredient, sometimes it is served simply as it is and sometimes it is served with long preparation time. A lot of items are served but they are well balanced. Its delicate taste never gets guests bored. Not too sophisticated dishes are very amiable. The chef, Okamoto is very talented in Japanese cuisine and he knows how to entertain guests. Today it is very hard to book a table of this restaurant because of its popularity.
The very famous Yakiniku (grilled beef) restaurant at which you can see amazingly long queues on weekends.
Grilling on the gas cooking stove, it is a style of the Showa era.
Delicious meat and superb guts. Side menu are also attractive and vegetable are delicious as well.
Nothing to say. It's perfect.
The limited dish "Lightly roasted heart" is the one of the finest meat to enjoy the texture.
"Premium diaphragm" gentle muscle fibers and exquisite taste.
Special dish, daegu tang soup (Korean spicy soup of beef tail) at Stamina Garden is very rich like western style beef stew so that you might feel meat is completely melted.
I always eat too much when I visit here.
