“The Tabelog Award” is a unique annual restaurant award based on the ratings by ordinary consumers, not by experts.
The award for “Gold”, “Silver”, “Bronze”, and "Category Award" will be selected restaurants
receiving extremely high ratings in 2023 as the top of approximately 850,000 restaurants nationwide with the votes of the Tabelog Users (as of October 2022).

The year 2023 saw a rise in the frequency of eating out and signs of recovery in the food and beverage industry.
New restaurants opened in rapid succession, reaffirming our enjoyment and excitement of eating our way through the city.

We salute those who continue to explore good food with passion. And we applaud the dedication that chefs have to their profession.
