けれどそんな中で、新しい挑戦も生まれた。テイクアウトでも変わらぬおいしさを目指したお店があった。オンラインで秘伝のレシピを教えたお店があった。生産者といっしょに生き残る方法を考えたお店があった。

外食文化がピンチの今だからこそ、食べログは、この「希望」にスポットライトを当てたいと思うのです。

What is “The Tabelog Award”?

“The Tabelog Award” is a unique annual restaurant award based on the ratings by ordinary consumers, not by experts.
The award for “Gold”, “Silver”, “Bronze”, “Best New Entry”, and “Best Regional Restaurant” will be selected from 523 restaurants
receiving extremely high ratings in 2021 as the top of approximately 810,000 restaurants nationwide with the votes of the Tabelog Users (as of December 2021).

While the year of 2021 has been a tough year for many restaurants,
we surely consider those restaurants experienced to take an extraordinary amount of effort and hard work to sustain the distinct taste at each restaurant despite a challenging environment.
